baclofen > Possible side effects
Some of the side effects you may experience when taking
baclofen can affect your reactions and thinking. It’s important that you know exactly how your body responds to the treatment and avoid taking part in any activities that require you to be alert and concentrated. Mild side effects are usually short-lived and not expected to change in intensity and interfere with your everyday activities. The following mild side effects are reported most often: nausea, constipation, headache, dizziness, tired feeling, weakness, sleep problems, drowsiness, and urinating more often than usual. Although this medicine is unlikely to have any dangerous side effects, the following ones are possible in some cases: uneven heartbeat, seizure, difficulty breathing, hallucinations, confusion, and swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Do not take baclofen along with medicines that cause sleepiness, such as pain medications, cold medicines, medicines for seizures, depression or anxiety, or muscle relaxers, as your side effects may be intensified. Make sure you report any new
baclofen side effects that are not listed here to your doctor, especially if they seem very serious and prevent you from doing certain activities that form part of your everyday routine.
